Fairest of the Fares
Weekends may not be the best time to look for airfare bargains, but airlines sometimes offer deals for travel on weekends that might work for you and save you some money. They're usually posted just a couple of days in advance, so you'll have to be flexible, lucky or a gambler to take advantage of them.
You might think of these weekend deals as you would department store sales on clothes and other things that aren't selling well.
These seats are on sale because there aren't enough passengers willing to pay the regular fare on an off-day, an off-hour or on a less-traveled route.

Weekend deals are good for only a few days, on certain routes and come with plenty of restrictions. As with other fares, be sure to read the fine print. They're not refundable. There are a limited number. And they may not be the best fare anyway, even if they call it a special deal.
Check the websites above for the latest offers from the big airlines. If you don't find something you can use, check back again. Something might turn up that works for you.
