Websites for larger airports list the airlines that operate there, ground transportation, restaurants, shops and other services. Most have maps to help you find your way around.
The biggest airports will have the most airlines and flights. They'll also have the greatest potential for things to go wrong, especially when it comes to delays and cancelled flights. Things like baggage claim and finding ground transportation can be exasperating when you have to hike through vast, crowded terminals.
Consider smaller, alternate airports that could have flights going your way. Click on the link at the bottom of the page for a list of websites. The larger airports are on this page.
Check the weather links for the airports you're flying to and from. Weather is the biggest cause of airline delays. Knowing what you might be in for can save a lot of frustration.
